Planner Annie: Shark Week
Thanks for Stopping!

Sometimes you just need clean and simple mixed in with just the right amount of cute.
I created this quick period tracker with the adorable stickers available from Kindred Stamps (Shark Week).
To create the ocean water I tore some paper and used some life changing brushes with a light and dark shade of blue water based ink.  I also added some Stickles to get some extra sparkles.

Planner Annie: Weather Part 2!

Planner Annie: Weather Part 2!
Thanks for Stopping!
Hurricane Dorian has taken over the broadcasting stations and the world is closely following just how devastating this storm can become.  It has made me thankful for living in a state that does not encounter hurricanes while at the same time looking for ways to donate relief supplies and praying for the people who will be most effected by this storm.

Taking all of that into consideration, I decided to focus on a weather tracker for the first spread of September.  Using the Planner Annie Weather stamp set and sticker set from Kindred Stamps, I created both the tracker and a super fun over sized planner clip to hold my spot for quick reference.

For this layout, I used a dutch door to create a rainbow and key for the weather tracker.  This stickers that coordinate with this stamp set were too cute and the perfect way to create my code.  I used Zig markers to designate each type of weather with a specific color.

The front of the rainbow was created using metallic watercolor paints.  The bullet journal I use has 100 GSM paper, which allows me to use light water coloring supplies.  However, I wasn't happy with the amount of wrinkling on my dutch door (and how flimsy the watercolor made it), so I glued a piece of Canson multimedia paper to the back and carefully cut it out.  Not only did this eliminate the wrinkling, it also provided the key with additional support and a crisp background to showcase these adorable stickers.  I finished the edge with some gold washi tape.
